The Wiki PAM cluster was created by the ACEA project in 2018.
We had to find stakeholders in the Aromatic and Medicinal Plants value chain, who were ready to commit to collaborate to drive the group’s success. Wiki PAM now counts over 60 active members: artisans making natural extracts, private companies exporting products, and public entities.
For over two years, cluster members have been building bonds of trust and have organized trainings, shared booths at trade shows, and conducted research together.
Behind every Wiki PAM product is a passionate team of artisans, most of which are women. Check out our products to discover and learn about harnessing the power of plants.
How our cluster works
Wiki PAM is a cluster. It is a large group of people working together for a common goal.
They meet regularly, organize their businesses together, and help each other grow. To facilitate collaboration, cluster members are divided into 6 working groups. Each group deals with one of the cluster’s needs, namely: logistics, training, marketing, certification, research and development, and technical and economic collaboration.
Where We Work & Why
ACEA Tunisia chose to develop the cluster in this region for many reasons. Firstly, it has a lot of potential and an abundance of Aromatic and Medicinal Plants, such as: rosemary, thyme, lentiscus, and eucalyptus, to name a few. This region was also chosen because it is very remote and thus usually somewhat marginalized, compared to other regions in Tunisia.
